Post Design

The post is constructed of one continuous piece in a weather resistant, non-rusting bright aluminum finish which is attached to a non-marking weighted base. The retractable belt mechanism is completely concealed in the top of the post; no additional attachment for belt mechanism is required. The belt mechanism may be easily field replaced.

4 Way Connections & Dovetail Belt Receiver

The posts are equipped with a standard 4 way post connection, allowing each post to deliver one belt while receiving three others. The connections are imbedded into the post to eliminate breakage and include a belt-end locking device to prevent accidental release.

Each post has four vertical dovetail shaped grooves. The belt extends form one groove, while the other three can be used to accept belt ends or other accessories. The belt end is constructed of solid plastic and contoured to fit in to the dovetail shaped grooves.

Slow Retracting Belt Feature

The retracting mechanism is equipped with a unique, centrifugal belt-braking system, allowing the belt to retract slowly and safely if accidentally released.
